ACE Septic & Waste is proud to announce that our documentary, In-Ground Nitrogen Reduction, received a 2025 Bronze Telly Award in the General–Branded Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) Content category.

This national recognition places us alongside industry leaders such as Indeed (Gold), Stanford University (Silver), and PBS (Bronze). It reflects the growing importance of responsible wastewater management and Florida’s urgent need to protect clean drinking water sourced from our aquifer.
A Project Rooted in Environmental Science and Clean Water
This documentary was created as part of our launch of ACE’s Clean Water Initiative, a long-term investment in sustainable wastewater solutions. It spotlights the potential of In-Ground Nitrogen Reduction (INRB) systems, a promising technology to reduce nitrogen pollution from septic systems into our groundwater.

The project brought together leading environmental engineers and scientists from the University of South Florida, including:
- Dr. Sarina Ergas
- Dr. Mahmood Nachabe
- Dr. Ananda Bhattacharjee
Their collective and individual expertise, generosity, and collaborative spirit helped shape the film’s research, testing, and narrative. We’d like to thank them and their teams, as well as the great institution, the University of South Florida.

Community Collaboration
We sincerely thank Ronald Gaudet of Dunnellon, FL, who allowed us to install the pilot INRB system on his property and then shared his experience on camera. His participation was essential to demonstrating how these systems work in real-life residential settings. It’s always a funny conversation when you ask a former customer if we can bring a videography team to their home and ask them a bunch of questions on camera. Mr. Gaudet’s hospitality and generosity made our production days easy, and we’re grateful to have collaborated with him.

Commitment to Public Education and Awareness
At ACE, education is critical to solving Florida’s unique wastewater challenges. Our Clean Water Initiative is focused on more than just service delivery—it’s about advocating for advanced septic solutions, collaborating with environmental agencies, and giving the public access to science-backed information.
We’re proud to contribute to the Florida Department of Environmental Protection’s broader efforts to safeguard our state’s water resources.
Thanks to Our Internal Team
This award-winning video was shot on one production day with an on-staff crew of only three people and one remote producer supporting the logistics. It speaks to the efficiency and vision for this production and the message it intends to convey.
It also represents our team’s dedication and the creative professionals who helped bring this story to life. We’d also like to list the credits for the key players in this production, but we ultimately see this award as a reflection of ACE’s growing company of staff members committed to the best septic and wastewater work, which, by extension, leads to cleaner Florida waterways.
